Functional Lab Review

It’s not just about high or low values; it’s about answering the question why so you can understand why you feel the way you do.

Dr. Sherri’s perspective on routine lab results is far more complete and in-depth than most practitioners care to look.  The issue for most practitioners comes down to lack of specialized training, lack of time time and poor or no reimbursement.  Dr. Sherri’s training, clinical experience, and patient-first model afford her an expertise and unique approach with your lab results… a perspective that few practitioners are trained and/or experienced in doing.  The process takes considerably more time than the routine practitioner’s approach of a quick glance for extremely abnormal results and lastly, insurance companies only reimburse practitioners for treating these extremely abnormal findings.

Here’s what happens.  A routine practitioner says you’re fine but you may feel like dirt, or somethings not right.   The reason why “your fine” is again lack of specialized training, lack of time, and lack of insurance reimbursement.  This is a call for you to be your best health advocate not to criticize other practitioners.  This is simply a specialty at HealthE Coaching and not every practitioner pursues it.

Dr. Sherri will take the time to tease apart the exceptional information that is often overlooked on routine labs.  Many conditions show trends in your labs years before you’d be given a diagnosis, while there’s still time to avoid the condition altogether.  In routine care, you’d likely have to wait until your labs show exceptionally abnormal results to get the care you need.

You can find practitioners that will serve you better.
